Daneeze Treez plants unique and uncommon ornamental landscape trees for customers looking for locally adapted varieties that are not generally available from chain stores or other local nurseries. Businesses and homeowners will appreciate disease resistant USDA hardiness zone 5 stock, some of which are researched and developed here in upstate New York. Daneeze Treez would like to assist customers in selecting tree varieties from suppliers that are:
- Uncommon. Varieties that are less easy to obtain at big box stores or mail order;
- Climatized. Varieties that are labeled as hardy in zone 5 and has are successfully hardened and wintered in our local climate;
- Resistant. Varieties that demonstrates beauty and longevity due to disease resistance or have reduced pest risk due to low prevalence locally;
- Unusual. Varieties that have appealing features, i.e. form, flowering, winter interest, color, evergreen status, salt sensitivity, or street tree usefulness which can attract attention to businesses and ad landscaping property value.
