FRIENDS OF LETCHWORTH TO HOLD INAUGURAL DISC GOLF TOURNAMENT IN LETCHWORTH STATE PARK

(Castile, NY) – Friends of Letchworth State Park, in partnership with Endlessly Outdoors Company of Perry, NY, announce the Friends of Letchworth Disc Golf Tournament, on October 22, 2022. This inaugural annual disc golf tournament, will take place at Lower Falls in beautiful Letchworth State Park. This tournament will benefit the Friends of Letchworth State Park and their efforts to preserve, maintain and act as a steward of the park, it’s historical infrastructure and as a resource for nearly a million visitors each year. 

The tournament, will consist of a temporary 9-hole course with tee locations. The majority of the holes will be par three’s, and the tournament will be a 2-person scramble format (both tee off – always choose best throw to continue from). The cost will be $30 for each team. The Friends of Letchworth will be onsite with literature, materials, and refreshments including hot dogs, chips, water and more will be available for purchase. Area businesses may also sponsor this event. Sponsorship levels are $1,000, $500, $350 and $200 and provide an array of pre-event and on-site publicity.
