The Silver Lake Experience

The Silver Lake Institute and Asbury Retreat Center have collaborated on the Silver Lake Experience idea since 2013 and have produced four very successful events in 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2022. The planning committee once again has pulled together a wonderful event for 2024--reminiscent of the old “chautauqua” style gatherings-- rich in cultural, educational, recreational, spiritual and social justice opportunities. Past participants have come from our own Wyoming County community, area counties, Buffalo and Rochester, and states as far as Florida, Montana and Washington. Because this is a not-forprofit event, each day participants will experience 3-4 workshop choices, continental breakfast, lunch and evening entertainment-- all for an amazingly low cost. We welcome you to Silver Lake for a unique and enjoyable “experience.”
