The Old School (apartments and Airbnbs)
A getaway in a charming turn of the century school house. Enjoy original chalkboards, restored hardwood floors, repurposed fixtures, & vintage architectural finds while lounging in a unique classroom. The three story building was originally called the Perry Academy and was constructed in 1908 to accommodate a growing Perry student population.
Revitalization and restoration of, what is now fondly referred to as “The Old School" commenced in 2022 with four classrooms on the first floor. They were renovated to serve as Airbnb rental units with a unique flare. Preservation of the original windows, doors, floors, fixtures, chalkboards, and classroom layouts, allows guests to enjoy the charm of the vintage building. Several additional apartments were added, along with a community room space, amplifying the usability of The Old School, while preserving its charm.
Today the cupola can be seen illuminated with backlit lighting each evening, a reminder of the importance and longevity of this centurion structure and a nod to The Old School’s fan favorite architectural feature.

Kindergarten - End your day in a repurposed classroom @ the Old School. Enjoy 2 queen beds, a sleeper sofa, a kitchenette, a trendy & private bathroom, & all of the vintage & eclectic feels!

First Grade - Want to hang in a turn of the century school house? We've got just the place for you! Enjoy 2 queen size beds, a sleeper sofa, plenty of sitting nooks, a dining table, a kitchenette, one full bath with a super sweet open concept shower, a half bath, & plenty of charm!
Second Grade - A getaway in a retro classroom--why not?! Enjoy 2 queen size beds, a sleeper sofa, plenty of cozy spaces to curl up with a book, a super fun shower room (private to your room), a kitchenette, and more. We'd love to host you.
Third Grade - Features 2 queen mattresses & a convertible sleeper sofa, perfect for 4 guests. Enjoy an efficiency kitchen, cozy sitting spaces, rain shower heads, & nods to old school vintage finds.
