About
Markin Tubing, LP (www.markin.com) is one of the premier small-diameter coated steel tubing manufacturers in the world. Established in 1958 and located in Wyoming, NY the company continues to benefit from the region's considerable history and experience in steel production and deep engineering talent. Markin currently employs approximately 100 people, operates 24 hrs/day, and typically produces over 1 million ft of tubing each day via its eight tube production mills. Tubing ranges in size from 3/16” to 1 inch in diameter.
Markin’s products are typically used for fluid transfer and/or structural applications across a broad number of industries (from light and commercial vehicles to agricultural and construction equipment to consumer appliances) for some of the most recognizable OEMs on the planet (companies such as General Motors, Ford, Toyota, Daimler, John Deere, Caterpillar, Electrolux). Given where our products are used and the critical performance requirements for those applications (such as transmission and engine oil cooling lines, hydraulic power steering lines, airbag fill tubes), it is essential that Markin’s products conform to extremely strict specifications (from steel chemistry and dimensional tolerances to formability and corrosion resistance). Quality is part of Markin’s DNA – we have been certified to the automotive IATF 16949 quality Standard since 2005.
