Food Service Helper- Per Diem

HOURS: All shifts as assigned SALARY: $17.50 - $18.82 per hour-Per Diem

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: Performs a variety of duties, as assigned, in the dishwashing area, food service area, staff cafeteria or storeroom. May assemble prepared foods for regular or modified diet trays; deliver trays to servicing areas and return trays to clean-up area. May operate dish-machine and assist in sanitizing dishes. Cleans and maintains equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition. May prepare and mix ingredients for salads, desserts, beverages, sandwiches and similar items.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: None is required.

Preferred Experience: It is preferred that candidates have experience assisting in a restaurant or hotel dining room, or performing general domestic work.
