First Aid/AED/CPR (adult, child,infant) Training

The American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program is designed to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. This program teaches participants the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person when minutes matter, and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed.
Learning objectives:
1. Describe how to recognize an emergency and gain confidence to act
2. Describe the emergency action steps: CHECK—CALL—CARE.
3. Demonstrate high-quality CPR and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) for a person who is in cardiac arrest.
4. Demonstrate first aid care for a person who is choking
Certification Requirements:
1. Attend and participate in all class sessions.
2. Actively participate in all course activities, including assuming various roles during skill practices and assessment.
3. Demonstrate competency in all required skills.
4. Successfully complete all assessment scenarios.
Upon completion/passing the participants will be certified in: First Aid / CPR (Adult/Child/Infant) / AED (Adult/Child/Infant)
A minimum of 6 and maximum of 12 is required for the class. Course fee is $32.00 and can be paid on the registration screen.
